Vintage Mid Century Modern Signed Tonala Jal Mexico Pottery Owl 6 3/8” Tall
Have never seen an owl like this before, in this color. It stands 6 3/8” tall, depth is 3”, and width across the front is 2.5” across his tummy. It is signed Tonala Jal Mexico FV ( or could be FL) Jal stands for Jalisco. It is very smooth and the painting is beautiful. There are two small indents on the back of the head as shown, they measure about 1/8” in length each. Please let me know if you have any questions. This is a beautiful and authentic example of Tonala pottery.
